Gotu Kola / Mandukparni (Centella Asiatica):
A traditional partner to Brahmi, Gotu Kola has stood the test of time as one of the greatest herbs for the mind. It is renowned in Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine for its intelligence-increasing and memory-enhancing effects. In Ayurveda, Gotu Kola is considered to be a Medhya Rasayana, meaning it has the potential to rejuvenate the mind in a way that few herbs can. Compared to the grounding Brahmi, Gotu Kola has sweeter, lighter, and more cooling properties. These qualities help make it a perfect herb for calming down anger, seeing things more clearly, and overall restoring the mind. Sacred Pink Lotus / Indian Lotus / Kamal Gatta (Nelumbo Nucifera):
The Sacred Pink Lotus or Kamal is the national flower of India and has been used heavily by ancient Indian, Chinese, & Egyptian herbalists for thousands of years. Like the other Lotus, it is also a revered symbol of purity and enlightenment. Ayurvedic herbalists traditionally use Pink Lotus to treat a wide range of disorders such as headaches and erratic moods. Nonetheless, we at Cosmic Cord chose Pink Lotus Seeds due to their mental, emotional, and Spiritual effects. These include calming mental imbalances from anxiety to anger, and producing blissful sensations that permeate the body. With these properties, Pink Lotus is undoubtedly a blessed addition to Cosmic Cord’s Lotus Oil.

Using the dropper, apply a few drops of Lotus Oil to your face and rub into the temples. Also, apply a few drops to the top of the skull and massage into the scalp. For the most powerful benefits, use a few drops of the oil for Ayurvedic Nasya therapy. Always best done with a blessing, and followed by a meditation or prayer.
