Our Ancient Wound Salve was created to be a powerful ally for those of us who can’t help but sustain some bodily damage while living our regular lives. It combines the powerful ancient medicinal formulas of Ayurveda with Western herbs that are proven to support wound repair. It pacifies cuts and burns quickly, calming down bleeding and supporting quick healing. In this formula, you’ll find some of the most powerful herbs for healing wounds and fighting infections, such as Yarrow, Jasmine, Neem, and Wheatgerm. Our primary herb, Yarrow, has been famed throughout history for its wound healing capacity and ability to repair deep cuts and quickly stop bleeding. The Jasmine Leaf is very cooling, allowing it to calm inflammation, redness, swelling, and burning sensations typically experienced with fresh wounds. Finally, Neem is included for its well known anti-microbial properties to give this salve infection fighting capacity. We infuse these herbs into a base of Wheatgerm oil, an oil containing the highest natural source of Vitamin E. This high Vitamin E content, plus Wheatgerm’s sticky nature, both further support rapid healing of the skin.
